Health and Wellness Day for 60 PLC Employees
ERP College recently hosted a valuable Outreach Event at the PLC, focusing on promoting wellness among its employees. Attended by 22 massage therapy students and two ERP College instructors, this event provided dedicated support to help employees prioritize their health amidst busy schedules.
Feedback from a Peter Lougheed Centre employee highlights the event’s success: “The students are very knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and eager to help us have a day of wellness. It’s important for organizations to recognize their employees and provide them with a little perk, such as a nice relaxing massage, as recognition for all the work they do for us. Definitely, I would recommend ERP College. They did a great job. I’m thinking about trying the deal next week”.
The Outreach Event was a huge success, with approximately 60 individuals from the PLC actively participating. The participants experienced firsthand the benefits of massage therapy and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to prioritize their health.
“I think this was a great opportunity for your students and for our staff to receive recognition for their hard work. It’s a health incentive that promotes wellness. Everyone can leave their job feeling relaxed and return feeling less pressured, more in tune with their bodies,” an employee from the Peter Lougheed Centre shared her feedback after the 15-minute massage session.
Seamless Integration of Classroom Knowledge
Massage therapy students demonstrated their skills in various techniques tailored to meet individual needs under the guidance of ERP instructors. This hands-on application of classroom knowledge alleviated stress and tension, leaving a lasting positive impact on PLC employees’ well-being and enhancing students’ skills.
“As massage therapy students at ERP College, we are gaining valuable experience and receiving positive feedback from both clients and our instructors. Additionally, pursuing my education as a massage therapist has been beneficial for me personally. I would like to express my gratitude to ERP College and the program for providing me with the skills and knowledge necessary for future success.”
Valuable Learning Experiences
At the outreach event, PLC employees benefited immensely. Additionally, it provided ERP College students with a platform to acquire practical skills and receive valuable feedback from the participants.
“We place significant value on community outreach here at ERP College,” said Anna Marie Romero, one of the ERP instructors. “We believe that our students, instructors, and everyone in the college are prepared when they engage with the community.
