In order to evaluate the application of international students, transcripts must be forwarded directly to ERP College from the educational institution of their country. Only original certified copies will be accepted.

A qualified international student is either: A visitor to Canada with a valid student authorization permitting that individual to study in Canada in accordance with the terms of the Canada Immigration Act, but who is neither a Canadian citizen, or landed immigrant nor otherwise legally entitled to maintain a permanent Canadian residence, to whom individual contract training services are offered. All international students must obtain a study permit for a program that is more than six months or for a program six months or less if it has an integrated and mandatory work component. Once you receive your official Letter of Acceptance from ERP College, you must apply for a Study Permit. To obtain your Study Permit and/or your Temporary Resident Visa you must visit the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.

Governing Laws

All students studying in Canada are subject to the laws of Canada.

Pay the non-refundable, non-transferable $150 CAD application fee. Receive acknowledgement from the College.Ensure all required documents, including official transcripts, prerequisite documents, English Language Proficiency (ELP) results and other admission requirements are sent to ERP College as soon as possible. International students coming from countries where the official language is English do not have to provide English Language Proficiency results. If requesting for Home-stay: When your student visa is granted, inform ERP College of home-stay request two weeks before arrival. There is a fee of $200 CAD for Home-stay placement.

If requesting for Airport Pick-up: Please arrange the arrival date and flight number for airport pickup at least one week ahead. There is a fee of $50 CAD for this service.

Refunds must be initiated within 30 days of withdrawal. The Financial form must be completed and submitted to the Office of the Registrar.

Tuition, fees, and refunds are assessed in accordance with the College’s fee schedule and refund policies.

Refunds will be issued directly to the registrant by cheque. However, when a sponsor is identified, refunds will be issued directly to that sponsor. Fees paid by Visa or MasterCard will be credited to the original account used.

ERP College is required to notify Canada Immigration of all withdrawals. If a student decides to withdraw his or her application prior to entering Canada, the student must return both the original letter of acceptance and the original letter from Immigration.

Candidates whose first language is not English and those from countries where the language of instruction is not English will need to provide an ELP. Candidates that are from a country were English is the official language of instruction do not have to provide an ELP. Applicants can contact ERP College at info@erptechnicals.com to verify if the ELP used is acceptable to the College.

IQAS is the International Qualifications Assessment Service. IQAS was established by the Alberta Government to help individuals educated outside Canada to assess international documents and compare them to educational credentials in Canada.
