To assist international students, the International Student Office (ISO) is available for guidance and information on various matters, including college services, immigration information such as Study permits and work permits, housing information, career advice, and any challenges that may arise during their tenure at the College.
ERP College and the designated staff member for international students are familiar with the ADR and are accountable under this agreement. All students and staff members are required to comply with ERP College’s academic and ethical standards. Any violation of these policies and standards may result in suspension and/or expulsion from the College due to inadequate performance or unacceptable behaviour. ERP College is dedicated to providing reasonable support and assistance to ensure that its students can complete their studies. The College is committed to maintaining a professional and safe environment that is respectful and fair to all students and staff members.
The International Student Office (ISO) is available to provide support and information on various topics, including,
• College Services
• Immigration Information (such as Study permits and Work permits),
• Housing Information,
• Career Advice (such as changes to a student’s study plan),
• Challenges a student may encounter in their class, program, student life, or outside the college.
ERP College, together with the designated staff member for international students will continue to be knowledgeable about the ADR and the responsibilities outlined in this agreement.
All students and staff are required to uphold the academic and ethical standards set by ERP College. Violations of the policies and standards may result in suspension and/or expulsion for inadequate performance and unacceptable behaviour.
At ERP College, we maintain a strict policy regarding attendance to provide an optimal learning environment. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to ensure that our interactive and participative classes are practical.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and in the event of an absence, we kindly request that the student notify the instructor or office staff as soon as possible. It is the student’s responsibility to review the course material before class to gain an understanding of the background knowledge necessary for the current course curriculum. In case of any missed material due to absence(s), the student is expected to learn it on their own.
Assignments are to be completed individually within the timeframe provided by the instructors. ERP College strictly prohibits any form of plagiarism/academic dishonesty that will result in an automatic zero in the assignment or exam.
Our instructors take daily attendance, and we take all absences seriously. If a student is absent for more than two consecutive days, they must provide a valid reason and the appropriate documentation to support it. A reasonable excuse for an absence must describe circumstances requiring the student’s absence, such as medical emergencies or family emergencies. The inability to provide a valid reason/documentation may result in expulsion from the college. At ERP College, we strive to be consistent and reasonable in our approach to determining the parameters of a valid reason for any absence(s).
