On August 9, 2024, ERP College celebrated a significant milestone by hosting its first on-site New Student Orientation since the COVID-19 pandemic. This event, themed “Future Forward 2024,” marked a joyful return to campus life and provided an opportunity for new students to connect with their peers and faculty in person.
A Warm Welcome
The day commenced with a heartfelt welcome from Margarita Lo. After that Maryam Asghar led the Land Acknowledgement to honor the traditional custodians of the land. This acknowledgment set a respectful tone for the day, emphasizing the college’s commitment to inclusivity and community.
Following this, attendees were introduced to ERP College’s rich history, presented by Asghar. They showcased a graduation video highlighting the achievements of the Class of 2024, inspiring new students with the legacy they are now part of. The mission of ERP College was also discussed, reinforcing the institution’s dedication to empowering students through education.
Meeting the Team
A key component of the orientation was the opportunity for new students to meet their instructors. Viddhi Chhabria and Roula Antar facilitated a session where they introduced the faculty and provided an overview of the nine programs offered at the college, including:
