Health and Wellness Day for 60 PLC Employees
ERP College recently hosted a valuable Community Outreach Event at the PLC, focusing on promoting wellness among its employees. Attended by 22 massage therapy students and two ERP College instructors, this event provided dedicated support to help employees prioritize their health amidst busy schedules.
The Outreach Event was a huge success, with approximately 60 individuals from the PLC participated. The participants experienced firsthand the benefits of massage therapy and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to prioritize their health.
An employee from the Peter Lougheed Centre shared her feedback after the 15-minute massage session. “I think this was a great opportunity for your students and for our staff to receive recognition for their hard work. It’s a health incentive that promotes wellness. Everyone can leave their job feeling relaxed and return feeling less pressured, more in tune with their bodies.”Â
Seamless Integration of Classroom Knowledge
Massage therapy program students demonstrated their skills in various techniques tailored to meet individual needs under the guidance of ERP instructors. This hands-on application of classroom knowledge alleviated stress and tension, leaving a lasting positive impact on PLC employees’ well-being and enhancing students’ skills.
